You will be spoilt for choice with Middle Eastern Aleppo Pepper, exotic Moroccan Ras el Hanout and Kimchi’s essential Korean Red Pepper Flakes. Versatile Japanese seasoning Shichimi Togarashi is a current hot favourite rubbed into seafood or chicken, sprinkled on sweetcorn or simply used as a tasty replacement for salt and pepper.
This begins with a short tour of the Spicery and is the comprehensive introduction to spices that almost needs no introduction! In this 1 ½ hour session Herbie will navigate through the exotic waters of the history of the spice trade.
